2. What we collect and why

Messages sent through the contact form or by email

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, company or organization, and the content of your message. We use this information only to reply to you and to handle the follow-up that your message requires. We do not use it to send you announcements or advertising.

Usage information

To understand how the Site is used and to improve it, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC. The information it sends and how it is handled are described in section 3.

3. Information sent to third parties

The following services receive information from your device when you use the Site.

Google Analytics

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google Analytics is configured not to set cookies without consent. In that case only cookieless, non-identifying signals are sent.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

  • Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (service: Cloudflare Web Analytics)
  • Information sent: the URL of the pages you view, the referring page, the type of browser and device, screen resolution, page load timing, and country or region. No cookies or identifiers that single out a visitor are used.
  • Our purpose: to understand how the Site is used and how fast it loads, and to improve it
  • Cloudflare’s purpose: to provide and improve its services. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Hosting

The Site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). When you visit the Site, connection data such as your IP address, the time of the request, and your browser type is processed on Cloudflare’s servers to the extent needed to deliver the Site and keep it secure.

Contact form delivery

  • Recipient: Resend, Inc. (United States; service: Resend)
  • Information sent: the name, email address, company or organization, and message entered in the contact form
  • Our purpose: to deliver the form contents to our mailbox
  • Resend’s purpose: to send email on our behalf. See the Resend Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not share personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. The service providers listed above process information only to the extent needed to provide their services to us. Because these providers are located in the United States, we confirm through our agreements with them that safeguards meeting the standard required by Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information are in place.

5. Cookies

The Site stores cookies in your browser for Google Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies. These cookies contain a random identifier used to distinguish visitors and do not contain information that identifies you personally, such as your name or email address. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings. The Site remains fully usable without them.

6. Security

We take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to, loss of, or leakage of the personal data we hold, including access control, encrypted connections, and supervision of our service providers.

7. Your rights

If you or your authorized representative request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party provision of your personal data, we will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law. Please send requests to the contact address in section 1.

8. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy in response to changes in law or in our services. The revised policy takes effect when it is published on the Site.
